Utah runs on multiple drivers: four statewide instrumentation-demand clusters plus an aerospace base, and Crestflo engineers to the real service conditions of each one. The primary driver, and the most distinctive, is copper mining, smelting and sulfuric-acid chemistry. Rio Tinto Kennecott's Bingham Canyon open-pit mine in Salt Lake County treated roughly 20 million tonnes of ore in the first half of 2025 alone. That ore feeds the Garfield flash smelter and electrolytic refinery at Magna, one of just two operating copper smelters in the US, with about 335,000 t/yr of refined-copper capacity. The plant captures around 99.9% of its SO₂ and converts it into sulfuric acid, which gets railed out to regional fertilizer producers. Hot sulfuric acid and wet SO₂/SO₃ acid-plant service set the corrosion regime for this cluster. Second comes petroleum refining. Salt Lake City's "refinery row" stretches across Salt Lake and Davis counties. Marathon Petroleum anchors it with a roughly 61,000 bpd refinery, the largest in Utah, alongside HF Sinclair at Woods Cross and Chevron and Big West Oil at North Salt Lake. These refineries process high-paraffin Uinta Basin "waxy" crude, trucked in insulated tankers from Duchesne and Uintah counties, and the crude demands heat-traced, high-temperature instrumentation. Third is semiconductor manufacturing. Texas Instruments runs its LFAB and LFAB2 300 mm analog and embedded-processing wafer fabs in Lehi, in Silicon Slopes, Utah County. LFAB2 broke ground in late 2023, with production planned as early as 2026. It's driving demand for ultra-high-purity process gas and DI water. Fourth is Great Salt Lake mineral extraction. US Magnesium operates a chlor-electrolysis plant at Rowley, in Tooele County, separating molten magnesium from chlorine gas drawn from GSL brine. Compass Minerals runs a roughly 55,000-acre solar-evaporation complex at Ogden, in Weber County, the Western Hemisphere's largest producer of sulfate of potash, and is now developing battery-grade lithium carbonate there too. The chemistry here, aggressive wet chlorine and chloride brine, is unforgiving. Rounding it out is aerospace and defense. Northrop Grumman designs, manufactures and static-tests solid rocket motors at Promontory, in Box Elder County, and at Bacchus/Magna. The Sentinel ICBM (LGM-35A) stage-one qualification static-fire was completed at Promontory in March 2025. Hill Air Force Base, near Ogden, adds sustainment work to the mix. Can you supply NACE MR0175 fittings for the Salt Lake City refineries running Uinta Basin waxy crude?

What do you recommend for Great Salt Lake wet-chlorine, magnesium-chloride brine and lithium process?

Hastelloy C-276/C-22 and Titanium Gr2 handle wet chlorine at US Magnesium's Rowley chlor-electrolysis plant. At Compass Minerals Ogden, 254 SMO, AL-6XN, and Super Duplex 2507 cover chloride-laden brine and the lithium-carbonate process lines. All of these are high-PREN corrosion-resistant alloys, a step up from standard 316L. Values follow the applicable standard and can be adjusted to whatever the requirement calls for.

Are your fittings drop-in replacements for Swagelok or Parker used across Utah plants and fabs?
