What Are Semiconductor Instrumentation Fittings & Valves?

Semiconductor instrumentation fittings and valves are the ultra-high-purity (UHP) tube fittings, valves and tubing that carry process gases, specialty gases, DI/ultrapure water and analytical samples through a fab's gas cabinets, valve manifold boxes (VMBs), tool hook-ups and DI loops. General-service fittings don't go through this treatment. Also Known As

Triangle fabs and their EPC/panel builders don't all use the same name for this product class. High-purity fittings carry performance qualification to ASTM F1387 for dimensional interchange. On request, they're also built to ASME BPE / SEMI surface-finish and oxygen-cleaning targets (ASTM G93 / CGA G4.1). Valves are a different matter. They qualify to the applicable valve standards instead, ASME B16.34 and the relevant API shell/seat basis (API 598 / 602), not to F1387, since that's a compression-tube-fitting standard, not a valve standard. Testing covers hydraulic proof and burst, pneumatic testing, and 100% seat and shell leak testing on manifolds. PMI and in-house NDT are part of that testing too. Destructive testing gets sent out to ISO/IEC 17025-accredited labs, and third-party inspection can be arranged on request. Per-product datasheets and CAD models aren't posted as public downloads; customers can request them directly.

There's no US warehouse. Crestflo serves the US market as a manufacturer. It lands at Port of Wilmington or Morehead City and moves by I-40/I-85 and CSX/Norfolk Southern rail into the Triangle. For urgent fab MRO, critical items can go by air freight.

Are your fittings and valves TAA / US-origin compliant for semiconductor contracts?
